Do you teach beginners?
Yes. We start with fundamentals right away and keep everything connected to the music you want to play
Do you teach adults?
Yes. My preferred format is 1 hour lesson. Adults often progress quickly when the practice plan and lesson focus are tailored to their interests
Do you teach reading or can I learn to play by ear?
Both. Ear training is one of the most practical skills you can develop and we also teach reading in a straightforward way. Many students build reading naturally as part of learning songs.
Do you teach synth programming and music production?
Yes. Synth programming, sound design and composition/arrangement are part of the curriculum where they fit your goals.
What is a typical lesson like?
You'll get hands -on instruction and a clear weekly practice plan you can actually follow.
Depending on your goals, we can focus on:
Piano/Keyboard technique (hands, coordination, efficiency)
Playing by ear and learning songs ( how to hear, match, and play)
Music reading fundamentals (taught in a friendly, step-by-step way)
Rhythm, timing, groove, and musical feel
Harmony and music theory (taught as needed to support what you're playing)
