"Although I've always believed that the quality of the  final musical product is far mare important than the tools used to create it, I've been fortunate enough to have observed great change in the field of music technology  and have been able to have play a lot of great instruments over the years, my first synthesizer was this Arp 2600

which I still own. Having started out on a Fender Rhodes and Hammond C3, I worked my way through many of the early poly synths (Prophet 5, Korg Poly 6 and Poly 61, Oberheim Matrix 6) went through the FM era with the obligitory Yamaha DX7 and TX81Z, learned sampling on a Roland S-550, and then aqquired sample playback workstations (Korg M1, Wavestation) as they became available

My current live rig is a combination of hardware and soft synths running in Mainstage on my MacBook Pro.
